Welcome to HiSports, Stouffville's ultimate destination for all things pickleball! In collaboration with HiSports, we have brought Stouffville six dedicated indoor pickleball courts. Their enthusiastic team is here to help elevate your game and provide an exciting retail experience for our vibrant pickleball community. Whether you’re searching for paddles, apparel, or accessories, you’ll find everything you need at hisports.ca. or at their store located on the 2nd floor of Stouffville Athletic Center.
The Beginning
In the summer of 2024, the long-awaited transformation of Field C into six dedicated pickleball courts began. This extensive process took place over most of the summer, starting with the excavation of the existing turf and pellets. Following that, the surface was leveled and readied for concrete, after which it was allowed to sit undisturbed to ensure the court foundations could properly dry.
Getting Them PicklePerfect
Once the concrete slab has been properly cured, the next steps involved surface preparation, coating, and line marking. First, the concrete is cleaned, patched, and power-washed to ensure good adhesion. Then, multiple layers of an acrylic resurfacer and colored textured court coating are laid down for playability and traction. Finally, regulation lines were painted with contrasting color. After drying, nets and posts were installed, officially ending the transition.
Present Day
Pickleball continues to grow as one of the most exciting and accessible sports for all ages—and we’re proud to be part of that movement right here in Stouffville. Whether you're a beginner learning the ropes or a seasoned player competing at a high level, our indoor courts provide the perfect setting to play year-round in comfort.
